The Challenge

Moving money is still hard.
It's strange that we still have to *think* about how to move money. Should I use a wire transfer? ACH? Venmo? Cash? MoneyGram? Bitcoin? — Sid Gandhi
Consider that in 2022:
  • $159T in cross border payments took 24-96 hours to complete.
  • $794B in remittances cost 6.2% in fees.
  • 3.27B people lived in countries with unstable currencies.
  • All blockchain transactions were (and will be) publicly viewable and trackable *forever*.
All this while we move gigabytes of data around the world in milliseconds with end-to-end encryption for fractions of a cent.
What if we could move money like we move data?
